this isn’t your traditional design studio
to define is to limit
I have never really been one for defining myself (i mean, where do people even start?). I always felt like I existed between different spaces - never limiting myself to one path and allowing myself to explore different endeavours. This inspired me to create Bradbury Studios.
Switching careers definitely came with some doubts but it is (hands down) the best decision I could have made for myself. While my journey has never been traditional or straightforward, this is what sets me apart. At the end of the day, I am a person who wants to make an impact where I can.
an artistic concept?
When I think of Bradbury Studios and where it could grow to be, I can only hope that it continues to inspire others to push the boundaries of contemporary over-consumption and to embrace creativity.
My vision for this company has been deeply inspired by the term wabi-sabi (侘寂) which can be described more as a feeling, than a concept. It is about the aesthetic of things in existence, that are “imperfect, impermanent, and incomplete”. So while it remains difficult to translate, it perfectly described the vision I had for Bradbury Studios. All I know for sure is that this is just the beginning...
With love,
